At Strange Pets, we sometimes worry where our stock comes from. It's hard to have piece of mind, especially with small furries. It's for this exact reason that Strange Pets has set up it's own breeding center, 'Yukai Pets'

'Yukai' is Japanese for 'Happy' and we ensure that this description can be used for all our animals. We have detailed breeding schedules to make sure that our pets are bred properly and to a set standard, so our breeders and their offspring are happy and healthy throughout their lives. We provide the best, diet, environment and care for our animals and the results can be seen when you look in to their furry little faces!

OUR CURRENT BREEDING PROGRAMS

Fancy Rats - Angel/ Mitsy / Doobie - We are expecting two litters of fancy rats from our girls. Both had healthy litters last year, this will be their second litter and then they will be retired. Angel is a Mink hooded rat, Mitsy is an Albino. Our male, Doobie is the perfect male rat. He is very large and muscular with a sweet, non agressive tempermant and a beautiful sleek appearance. He is a beautiful brown and white hooded rat.

Fancy Mice - Ginger / Dangermouse - The first litter from this pair will be arriving soon. Ginger is a fawn and Dangermouse is a Siamese. Both are very active and have the softest coats ever.

Spiny Mice - Eve / Boris - Expecting the first litter soon

Winter White Hamsters - Light / L - Light is a female pure white WW and L is a dark grey WW. They are both tiny and adorable and we hope that their first litter is as cute as they are.

Yukai pets are Happy pets - Work has begun on our new breeding center and we hope to have it finished in the next few months.

Fabulous 'Phibs - We currently have a tiny baby Horned Frog and a huge Smooth sided Toad. Both are amazingly cute and would make a great addition to anyone's collection.
