Welcome to Strange Pets, the only exotic pet shop in the Furness area, dedicated to bringing you high quality pets and a range of products to care for them.

We offer a wide range of exotic animals, including reptiles, amphibians, chelonia, invertebrates and exoticmammals. We also sell standard mammals such as rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, rats and more.

Our high quality products come from suppliers such as Exo-terra, T-rex, Eurorep, Lee's, Savic, Ferrplast and many more. We also hope to start our own range in small animal bedding and treats so keep an eye out in our news section for more information. We sell all types of live and frozen food and dry food for both reptiles and mammals, including dog, cat, ferret and small animal foods. We also hope to offer a Strange Pets made 'Shunamite' diet for rats and other small animals. This mix is the perfect diet for your rat or other small furry and can prolong your animals life by years with regular feeding.

Strange Pets supplies only captive bred animals, therefore we are branching our business out to 'Yukai Pets Breeding Center'. 'Yukai' means 'Happy' in Japanese, this is because we ensure that all out pets are kept in perfect conditions and bred properly accordingto breeding standards. The owner, Stacey, is qualified in Herpetolgy, the study of reptiles and amphibians and has been keeping exotics and other animals for a number of years. She grew up rescuing all sorts of animals, nursing them back to health and releasing them back to the wild and has tons of experience in animal care. Her favourite animals are frogs, toads and rats and these are her strongest subject, making Strange Pets an amphibian specialist.

Fabulous 'Phibs - We currently have a tiny baby Horned Frog and a huge Smooth sided Toad. Both are amazingly cute and would make a great addition to anyone's collection.
